Well, that 1998 concert in Sydney is definitely worth watching whether youre a Gary Cherone fan or not ( I am ) LOL...Mikey plays his ass off, as does Ed and Alex! They were all on fire that night!

It's an oddity. If you look closely it appears there's a TR adjustment wheel. Don't recall them on US Peaveys until the Millennium.
I saw that too...the body looks way more Millennium shaped than the '95 Forum Bass.
I don't see a pickguard on it either.
Yes, he still endorses his Peavey amp....but back in the 80's before and after "Live Without A Net", he was a Mesa Boogie man. AFAIK, he went to Peavey amps at same time Eddie did.
Looks like a 2-TEK bridge.
At a guess I'd say a forerunner or prototype of what would become the Jack Daniels bass.
That one looks like the G Bass body, bridge, pickup, pre-amp, and knobs with a Millennium neck.
The one in the concert pic looks like the sunburst version.
I've never had a Millennium here, is it the same body shape as the G Bass?

What you see as a "EMG" logo I think is a "Peavey" logo in white. It's not the best photo.
My "bargain" mahogany body Foundation from GC arrived today. The strings were about 1/4" off the fingerboard to compensate for the severe ski jump at the end of the neck. It was absolutely beat to death with a big slap divot under the strings, gouges all over the body, a bent tuner and a rusty bridge. I took it over to my local GC and returned it. They returned the full price including shipping so that is more than fair.
Oh well. You win some....my cool Dyna 5 and you lose some....the sad hog Foundation.

I’ve noticed that the battery compartment for my Milly is a little snug. What kind of batteries do you use in your active Peaveys?
Duracell copper tops in my Millennium since I got 20 years ago & yes it's always been a very snug fit.
I use the regular 'big brands', Duracell or Energizer. I noticed some batteries (such as the Amazon Basics) are just a little thicker. I cant use them in my Cirrus.
So I returned the mahogany body Foundation to GC in San Antonio yesterday. It has terrible wear on the front from slapping, it has really bad ski jump in the neck and lots of dings and wear all over the body. They put it back on the website and listed it in good condition. Wow. Just wow.

I never knew Michael Anthony got in to playing Peavey basses. I knew at some point he was using the amps though.
OT but Peavey related since we're talking about VH....
I was a So Cal resident from the mid 90's up until a few years ago. Not sure if anyone remembers Johnny Guitar in Hollywood or not, but I had a good friend that managed the store back then. They were a Peavey dealer at the time and I was hanging around right about the time all the EVH Peavey stuff was releasing. I lived about an hour + drive away so I would typically visit on weekends. I showed up at some point and he says 'come up to the office and check this out.' He had on hand the very first production run model of EVH's Peavey guitar. He had gotten it a few days prior and he said when Eddie got word he came down to the store after they closed to check it out and make sure it was everything he signed off on. I'm no guitar player so I just held it for a minute just so I could say I hand my hands on a guitar Eddie had played as well as it being the first production model.
My buddy is quite the bass player and got to do some after hour jams with Flea, Nathan East and quite a few other L.A. bassists back in the day. Those were the glory days on Sunset Blvd for music stores....long gone now. Anyhow, that's all I have.....back to my TL-Five!
