U.S. Peavey Club

Think I'm gonna part out this T20.

The neck came off a 1992 Foundation I sold the pickups out of, still have the Foundy body too.
Pickguard is new from Pickguard Heaven.
Pickup is NOS when I put this together earlier this year.
Pickup surround is new from Fretsonthenet.com
Bridge has zero corrosion, somehow as clean as a new one, I think maybe this never was on a bass before either.
Neckplate I bought off ebay, it's one of the fancy Peavey logo ones in great shape.
The body has plenty of wear and tear, not worth much at all.
I finished this bass the same week I bought my ash Slant Fury, so the blue T20 has just hung there, the Fury bass ends up in my lap....because it's ash.
Anybody looking for parts please shoot my a PM.

There's a nice TL5 on GC Used.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I called about that one before the photos were up. The guy I talked to said it looked like it had a finish repair on the neck. I would call and ask for a photo of that before buying it. Other than that it looks very nice and is a pretty color. Usually basses in that condition have been kept in the hard case but there is no mention of a case.

A last model Dyna 5 is on Ebay this morning. I have one and it is a killer bass. This one is described as having "distortion when active EQ is engaged....may need a new battery". It could be a simple fix with a new battery.

So, as Dirty Harry would say: Do you feel lucky? Well, do you?

If you don't feel so lucky there is another one on Music Go Round.

I love that color for Peavey. It's the same as my Foundation S . I guess it's called slate or slate gray ? I LOVE Dirty Harry so much ! The final scene at the rock quarry was filmed in San Rafael where I grew up. It was right off 101 and now it's a development.

Have you played the last model Dyna 5 with the humbuckers?
I did and while normally I prefer humbuckers on that bass still find the SF more pleasing and functional. I have played many gigs and sessions on that bass and have never once even looked at another Super J because this one has all the tones and playability I could ever need. Ymmv of course.

Beautiful Palaedium! I had a red one 20 years ago and loved it. Is that the one Chuck sold? I just told him the other day that I dont know how it slipped past me in the classifieds! Congrats! Love that "honey" color!
Thanks! It is indeed. I’ve been wanting to check one out since the 1990’s, and jumped on it as soon as i saw Chuck’s listing, (i think it was the next day after it was posted.)
I’m loving the feel and the sound of the pickups!

Thanks again for the heads-up, Mike! You guys can rest easy cause that TL-5 is on its way to my crib ;)

I called the store when that one was up on GC’s site. The guy I talked to told me there was a finish repair on the neck. I didn’t see anything like that when the photos were up. It is a very pretty color and they are wonderful basses. Glad you got it.

Yes I saw your post about that and I asked them to look for it...they said there appeared to be a small spot on the back of the neck at the 9th fret, near the bottom, where a small chip had been repaired, so hopefully thats all there is to it. I am having it shipped to the store so I can look it over ;).. it didn't come with a case either, I asked him to look and make sure...he said he looked..he probably just put me on hold and went to take a leak :roflmao:
