Somebody here hands out numbers for the U.S. Peavey Club, I forgot who.
There are lots of Peaveys with maple fretboards and those are the most basic with Peavey and Fender.
Yes, much closer to a neck-thru USA Spector than a Fender Jazz bass.So I have to confess.....I haven’t touched my TL-Five since the last gig I played on it back at the end of February. I’ve had 3 gigs since then and have played all of them on my Fender jazz I picked up in a trade back in April. I pulled the TL out to give it a check up and after about 30 seconds had to ask myself....’what the heck were you thinking?’ I don’t have a scheduled gig for about another 2 months but the TL will definitely be going out in the number 1 slot. The tone and playability of that bass is just on point. If we’re getting into looks, the TL is like a Ferrari.....the jazz.....not so much. I was really studying the features on the TL and the level of craftsmanship those old Peaveys have is really something. I’ve had my hands on some other bass players instruments in these past few months as well and none have been as impressive as my TL either. Please go easy on me Peavey fam as I have strayed but have come back home.

It was my first bass purchase and has been with me close to thirty years now and probably why it feels like "home" every time I pick it up and I just now realized it is the same bass i'm playin in my avatar during a show. Those script logos were common for 1992 models.
that would be a Fury Custom: as mentioned, it was a $25 or $50 upcharge and got you the rosewood, matching headstock and black hardware options.
Thanks! We practiced the medleys a lot, so we didn't have to pay someone to edit the video.
The studio that we hired cut this live. We knew they did multiple cameras and audio simultaneously, so we did a ton of preproduction. We walked out with the finished product, right after we put away our instruments. I like how it turned out.
I have a Gen 3 Fury and a Foundation neck both 1992 with that headstock and logos.
It's only $1.79 per gallon now!
