U.S. Peavey Club

Even though it's stupid heavy, I keep this Forum around just for its unique, musical sound. Every note has great authority. Thick and round, yet never muddy and always present. I would describe it as having the best qualities of an L-1000 and an EB-3, if that makes sense. Or, in one word..."rich". I don't see many of these floating around. One of Peavey's more obscure models?

I have a single soapbar forum like that, and I’ve always struggled to make friends with it. I think the pickup is just too close to the neck for my taste. The neck is also pretty dang wide, and I’m more into the pencil thin ones. It’s a solid machine, just not of my taste. Maybe I’ll trade it for something cool someday lol

Well Peavey friends.....I have a friend who has been taking large strides in a short time in the 3D printing world. She is big into the Star Wars cosplay stuff and just finished making a Mandalorian helmet for her group. That said, I will be making a big delivery this evening. She just got some new scanning software........and she’s going to see it she can recreate the coveted, long lost, always broken, infamous Peavey battery cover and frame. Keep your fingers crossed with me and I’ll let y’all know how this plays out.

That would be fantastic.

Ooooo!!! Anxiously waiting!

I have had this like new Millennium up for sale for quite a while now and it hasn't sold. If you want it, step to the plate because I am very close to swapping the preamp with one of my Cirrus basses.

For Sale - Peavey USA Millennium Plus 4 J/J like new

Chuck I saw that last night, If I didn't already have a Peacock Blue (regular pickup config) one with a Maple neck I'd grab it. Beautiful bass. I think you have a very fair price on it.

I am puzzled that no one has bought it. It is a rare bass (J/J) and almost impossible to find one in this condition. Another puzzling thing about 2020!

Not playing your four string basses much anymore?

I almost never play a 4 string. I still have a Millennium (up for sale), my Forum P/J and a Cirrus 4. I will probably sell the Cirrus too.

I have lately been playing my Cirrus 5. It is a special sounding bass. I have a gig on electric bass next week but will play my Gould ggi6 and my Roscoe 6 FL.
