Ugliest Bass Guitar Award

Hi all,
While cruising about on eBay I came across this Guild
and thought wow that's one really ugly bass!
The body for some reason makes me think of those
banana chew candies.
Maybe someone at Guild unwrapped several then smashed them
on the floor and said "That would make a wild guitar body
and color is right too!"
Ok everyone else post yours.

While Im sure they are excellent instruments, I have to say Parker guitars are some of the ugliest guitars I have seen. Just my opinion...

The Parkers are so ugly I don't even feel sorry for them. The splat of custard style bass in the OP is kind of cute though, in its own way.

theres this one epiphone at a local shop that looks like an RV or a Bus or something, can't remember exactly but it was ugly. They wanted quite a bit for it too.

yes that would be it but I thought it was in bass form, maybe it was a guitar on the bass shelf, I didn't look at it too long for fear of burning my retnas

I'm going to say "bollocks"¹ to the anti-Bongoites. I like them, I actually think that the design is a breath of fresh air. The double humbucker is definitely on my GAS list somewhere.

All i will say to the bongo haters is :

Go and see one in person. they look far far better in person than in pictures. its just one of those things, like the BMW 7 series. ugly on paper, awesome in real life.

I fell in love with the bongo looks at first sight. And then I played it and fell in love with the whole package. I plan on buying one in a few months.

I'm in Texas, can I buy the second round and shout bollocks right back? I almost laughed the first time I saw one of those bongo basses. The look, the name, and the price tag all put together are just...funny. It reminds me of the short-lived Ergodynes.
