Hey Janek

Welcome back from the tour. It's been very interesting following you on Twitter.

I'm really pleased to see the album is due for release soon - can't wait to get a copy and add to my ever-growing transcription list!

I see that in Nov you are planning clinics - are any going to be in the UK? And might you be gigging as well?

Hope to see you soon!

Regards

Mike

I'm not sure where all the clinics are going to be yet, at least one at the ICMP in London, and maybe some other locations too, just need to slot it all in right now. I'm not bringing a band from the US so I'm not sure if I'll be doing any gigs or not yet, maybe some local pick up gigs with some friends. I'll also be back over in December working on a record with Richard Niles for a new artist, and playing a couple of shows at the pizza express with them too I think.

Easy,

Janek

Sounds great!
Could you tell me what you will be talking about?
I happened to see a video of your clinic about live DnB and the effects you use that was very inspiring.
Because of that I actually bought myself a Boss OC-2 and had a friend build me a custom Low Pass Filter.

I'll be pretty much covering what the students want to cover in the masterclass. I have a bunch of things that I like to talk about, but I really like to leave it open so we can cover what the students actually want to talk about.

not sure if the masterclass is going to happen in Frankfurt yet..... but what about doing something in Lithuania? is there a school that would host one in that time period? would be fun to come over and do something.

Janek

So what's going to be there in Frankfurt anyway? A gig?

Well, Lithuanian Academy of Music does masterclasses from time to time, but there are very few bassists in area (and maybe even fewer cats that are interested in this sort of thing..), so I'm not sure if this would work out..

and, as I suppose, you don't do masterclasses for free, right..?

I'm not sure what's going to happen in Frankfurt right now, I'm working on a few different things as far as playing live goes. It might be a clinic or perhaps a show with a friend of mine there. Otherwise I'll just be working in the studio there for a couple of days.

I hope I can come to lithuania next year to promote my new album, so maybe I can do something there as far as a clinic goes then.
