Is there such a thing that is gig worthy? They make enough lightweight bass heads but not many bottoms that i know of..

RevSound has a reputation for having the most bang for pound.

None will get you through a super loud rock gig IME, but all can hang with a reasonable drummer and sound great....in the <23lb realm. The One10 is the supreme winner in terms of volume/tone/ lb....it's under 15 lbs!

Barefaced Super Midget is a 1x12 with horn, and weighs 21 pounds. Best bang per pound for any cab I am aware of.

Company long out of business, ripped a bunch of folks off towards the end, and cabs of varying quality - none particularly great sounding by today's standards.
I've played a bunch of gigs with a single Audio Kinesis H1203. 23 lbs so over the 20 pound limit, but highly gig-worthy (and great sounding).
Here is your winner right here. There is a HUGE difference in this cab and all the other 20-ish pound cabs mentioned here (except the Barefaced Super Midget). So you can get a 18 pound cabinet that meets your weight criteria but is only good for home use, or for the extra 5 pounds you can get a gig worthy cabinet.

You might want to take a look at an Acme B-1 cab.

I think it would be more realistic to add at least 5 pounds to your minimum if you want performance cabs. Having said that, I own 2 x Eden EX110's 8 ohm cabinets that I use with a GK MB500. I've recently played some pretty loud jam sessions and the two cabs and GK have not even strained. It's hard to believe the cabs house a 10" bass speaker, I just don't know how they get so much bottom end out of those little guys. They are 25 pounds.
If you go up to 30 pounds, there are the Eden EX112's, which are much deeper and will produce more low end and presence. I almost wish I had bought the EX112's but I got a sweet deal on the 110's. Eden stuff seems to be the best kept secret on TB, although you'll find a lot of TB'ers actually own Eden stuff. Very high quality made equipment.
My other choice would be the Schroeder Mini 12L+'s. They get great reviews. 20 pounds. Jorg even has a Mini 10L+, which is 17 pounds and handles 300 watts per cabinet. A couple of those would rock the house!

EDIT: The Eden cabs are so light and easy to move, when I show up for a gig, I carry one in each hand. They have big comfortable round handles on them for easy transport.

I think it's a great idea! Doing myself at the mo, as I needed a change to fit into a change of car with a small boot (or trunk as it is over the pond!)
Most of the small lightweight stuff can put out 250w+. I came to the conclusion that anymore, or near, than that pumping behind me, and I should have PA support, or risk real hearing damage.
Gig it, and if you need more push, just DI out for a little extra push. Over here, I see so many bands with gear overload. Our guitarist brings a huge valve 2x12 stack that could floor a herd of elephants!

Last week I gigged my Barefaced Two10 and One10 and the sound was pretty amazing. I'm expecting my 2 One10 cabs to sound equally good when I start gigging them in the new year. At 15lbs each a great tone and and moving enough air to cover a band what's not to like.
