I am sure some of that is due to camera angle exaggerating the taper.![]()
looks great, but that taper from bridge to nut seems awfully abrupt to me![]()
Will Lee model has a 1 3/4" nut vs standard Sadowsky 1 7/8" nut. Both have the 3 1/2" width at last fret. 1/8" seems to make a difference.![]()

Bass finally arrived and it's a beauty. I can't believe how light this bass is. I have not played a 5 string in years but so far, I think the adjustment will be smooth.
Played it with a band today and it was great. Even with the wide neck, it is very playable. Practicing with another group tomorrow and can't wait to play it again. Good luck and please post an update when your investgation is concluded.Tomorrow is day 8 of the investigation into finding my Roscoe bass and still nothing. Now I am curious to see what the outcome will be. I am thinking I may end up with a brand new bass. More to come.
OP I am glad you got your bass and hope you are enjoying it.

It's so amazing how we adapt.Played it with a band today and it was great. Even with the wide neck, it is very playable. Practicing with another group tomorrow and can't wait to play it again.
I have not played a 5 string in years. When I unpacked this bass, I was a bit intimidated by the very wide neck. It didn't take long for me to feel right at home with this bass after I changed the strings and tweaked the setup a bit. It's so amazing how we adapt.
