B1 being radiating may be more relevant; if I get worthwhile results I'll do a new thread (B0 is non radiating). Apologies for the sidestep, though it tied-in w/ the post above it.

A0 is the lowest Air resonance mode, also called the blow mode, because on violins it can be actuated by judiciously blowing across the (treble-side) f-hole. On the DB I can actually get a faint hint of it that way, but it can be far more accurately & reliably identified from spectral analysis. It is related to the Helmholtz resonance of a cavity with an opening, in that the volume of air in the cavity acts as a spring on the moving mass in the opening; it differs from the Helmholtz model as in that model the confines of the cavity are presumed stationary (i.e. infinitely hard). That is not the case here.
B0 is the lowest Body mode, comparable to the resonance you get when you hold a bar at (roughly) 1/3 & tap it in the middle. Easily actuated by tapping the free end of the FB. It contains much energy, but it is hardly radiating acoustically (but may be picked-up well by a PU), and in my view there is little energy transfer between A0 & B0.
B1 is the first plate-body mode (in the assembled instrument). It is strongly radiating, and again easily identified from spectral analysis (often most dominant).
