A few weeks, timing is important, as it depends on their level of backlog.
But do not hesitate to call the shop. They know how it is for us.
Wow yes she's beautiful!John,
Here's mine, (see link at the bottom) picked it up early February. Hybrid, German spruce top, antiqued tuners, solo board, Rev pickup, bumpers, carbon graphite end pin. I just weighed it this morning because I'm going to be traveling, 22lbs-ish. I asked Eric if the finish could be more towards the amber side. Upton features a shoe brown shade as their base finish I guess. That's all I asked for regarding the finish. On my invoice Eric's instructions to Chris were simple "Have fun...old world vibe...but not beat up or too shaded". Well, I couldn't be more pleased with mine. You'll see in the photos that in one it looks rather brown. That was taken next to a patio slider on a cloudy day. The rest I took a few days ago outside and the lighting couldn't be more different. Brilliant morning sun which really shows the red and amber tones. I'd say it exaggerates them but I really find the irregularity of the finish part of the charm of the bass. The top has grain and texture and whether it's the grain of the wood or the finish I'm not sure. I think I read somewhere the method is referred to as "raking". I'd be happy to be schooled about this if anyone has the facts. My strings are Evah Slaps but an Innovation Super Silver D.

That top is gorgeous! It's not a concord, but my baby on the rack getting ready for set up. Bohemian Hybrid Deluxe Top I'm having hatpeg tuners as well, so im guessing another week till I get her all to myself.
Right!? Just beautiful. I cannot wait to hear how she sounds. That top is gorgeous!
The D string is like a monster! One pluck and it HUGE sound, however the G A and E dont have that same BOOM quality. Could that be setup?
