Hey, Brian - how are you guys planning to release this material? Local CD sales? Internet CD sales? Internet streaming? The recording industry has changed so much the past few years, I'm always curious to see how less-than-famous bands who are doing serious recording plan to put their stuff out. Seems to me record companies will be a thing of the past before too long...

I think initially we will be focusing locally, as we are still building our electronic plan of attack. A couple of months to go though, so still plenty of time to change things up

On the band side of things, it was interesting to see that you have a straight up singer... in my mind, I had a James Hetfield kinda guy pictured, low slung axe and whatnot...

Sean can play a bit of guitar, but we're a true 4-piece. While we wouldn't turn down the right shredder, we've never felt the need for another guitarist 'just because'. I think that's one of the reasons that I love the Thumb so much - the tone is inherently enough that it adds fullness and texture to the guitar range and really distinguishes the low-mids, but it stays out of the way of the punchy kick that we're going for.

As construction begins on my new Roscoe fretless, I'm making it official: my hot-rodded Warwick Thumb NT 5 is for sale!

New, these basses go for $4499, and I've added a bunch of value with the electronics upgrades ($285 for Barden PUPs, and another $200 for the Audere 3zB 4-Band preamp). The bass is in excellent condition, I've treated her very well. Also, I have all of the original MEC electronics, and I will throw those in just in case you want to take the bass back to stock condition.

I'm only asking $2999, but I will entertain offers. No trades, please, I need cash to pay for my new Roscoe when it's ready.

It's an awesome bass! I would use it for a more mature style. The bass on the left is a 2001 LTD No.111. It's a pub band rebel type of bass.
