Man, that bass looks very nice! Nino's original Geddy Vee was certainly GAS-inspiring enough. Your endorsement isn't helping!

What's it weigh? I seem to have gotten luck as my DJ5 isn't particularly heavy - 8 lbs if I recall correctly.

mine was on the heavier end of the scale, 9lbs +.
This is pretty much 9 on the nose. The body is light, but the neck doesn't have graphite like the Lakland so it's a bit heavier there.

I know what you mean about the NYC GTG and the Vee, that bass has been on my mind ever since that day. IMO, it kicked the daylights out of the Sads that were there, both in terms of feel/sound and construction. It's just that I so rarely play a 5 anymore I can't justify it .........
