I used to help around a recording studio in Edmonton and Dwayne Goettel came in to do some session work, he'd just come back from Vancouver after meeting with SP, but he still didn't know if he was in the band yet.

Anyway, he had the very first stand-alone sampler I ever saw in my life, but for the life of me I can't remember the make/model. Shortly thereafter he moved to Vancouver and then so I, too, followed suit. Never met him again, but did go see numerous SP shows.
