not the kind of venting involved with anything bass but i bought an amp off ebay (ashdown mag300)...so anyway finally it gets here today and WTFFFFF....no power chord with it. so i told the guy that he either needs to overnight it to me because i have a show saturday, or he gets negative feedback. hes 100% rite now, but afer this it wont be because im certain he wont agree with me on this. am i being to forward and upfront with this aka..being a dick about it. just makes me super mad you know? anyway as things will go(im sure) and i dont get the power chord, where and how do i go about getting a different one soon....please help

well in the ******** case that he cannot provide you with one, you may be able to find one elsewhere... It shouldn't be too unique of a cable...

but as far as dealing with him... my advice would be to keep calm about it and not let it turn ugly...

Just about any detachable 3 prong power cord will work. Try a hardwaer store or appliance store one of them should have one for cheap enough.

It's basically the same chord used on your PC monitor. Just use that to get by with.

No bid deal. I have forgotten them going to others, gotten extras, and right now I am waiting for 2 and a power strip someone forgot to throw in the package here on TB.
Its a common cord.

Bro, my guitarist ordered a brand new hiwatt dr-103 for $2600 off of ebay. It took over a month to get to his house. You better believe my guitarist left negative feedback over that. They bribed him with $50 store credits and such but he was unable to use it for our first gig which was three weeks+ after he ordered it. No dice.

A missing power cable is not neg-feedback worth IMHO. Yes, you are right, it should have came with one but do this: go get a power cable, leave neutral feedback if it will make you feel better. Not a big a deal, man.

Those cheap PC power cords can be bought at Rat Shack or WalMart. I have 3 or 4 extra hanging around the house from old PCs and other old electronics gear. If you have a computer, just snag that cable for your gig until you get a replacement.

I bought a new/demonstrator Mark Bass from a shop. The power cord was there but faulty. I just did what many others here have already said, find an old computer cord or pick one up cheap. It's an inconvenience but no big deal.
