So I'm probably not the first to put this together, but I'm 98% sure that this is just a basic Superfuzz clone, perhaps with a few variations. If that is the case this pedal simply cannot suck.

I though it sounded like one too, how close it actually it remains to be seen!

I'm just speculating based on their reputation and the styles of music they seem to target. The FZ-2 is a big part of that style of music but is no longer being made. So they probably took that circuit and tweaked it for more low end. Whenever someone here gets one I would love to see gut shots so we can figure out more.
