I would love to hear the sound of this bass. Anyone else feel the same?

Yup, there is a mega thread about it in luthier corner.Isn't that guy on here? I thought it was JIO?
Would love to play it just to see if it feels good. Looks nicely built. A black one would probably work for metal.
Well deserved recognition for Jio, those basses are incredibly cool. If George Jetson played bass, it would have to be Supernova, and the Performer inspired build is probably my favorite on TB. The gold one is total James Bond Goldfinger: "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"
looks kind of like the old guild jetstar, still nice
So cool - you could even route a slot for that in the back and make a built in fold in latching wooden tripod. Thanks so much - your James Bond comment is very suiting to my new band! In fact, when Cherie (Bond Girl) saw my basses, she instantly gravitated to the Supersonic.
Love the Jetstar and it does have some design references like it's ability to stand on it's own. I'm still considering making my own retractable integrated stand like on the Guild Thunderbird guitar. A brilliant idea that never caught on.

I love some of the oddball 60's designs, particularly the Japanese stuff, some of which is borderline demented, but they had a fearless Godzilla approach to design that was cool, even when the guitars were spectacular failures functionally. I remember as kid, every time we went to Sears to buy school clothes, I'd aggravate my parents by disappearing into the music department to check out the weird Teisco and no-name guitars and basses.
What'd the Brinks truck man say when he dropped a gold brick on his foot? You are one sick puppy.![]()
So when we will be able to order our own Supernovas? I'd better start saving up.![]()
