VHT Valvulator

It's not necessary if you've already got an active bass. It changes the signal from hi impedance to low, which will absolutely destroy the tone of certain fuzzes, distortions, and filters. It's a good box, well built, but not terribly usefull unless you've got a passive bass and you use it AFTER any effects that need to see a hi impedance signal.
