Great thread to read and great pictures. But I'm sure I would refuse to own any of those amps.
To me, nowadays amps are far better in terms of reliability, weight and power.
But I can understand the passion for these old rigs.

oh man I sold this one last year, was my first real amp my folks purchased new, I joined the Navy 5yrs later and it sat in my old room covered until recently then I sold it, regret that one. Original tubes and all, still sounded cherry but a heavy one! 1979 Fender Bassman

Had that shirt in the late 80s (souvenir of the Bahamas!). Had no idea about the Jaco connection....
Sweet! I have a Powerflex 502. Same amp just the guitar version and has an added board for Reverb and Tremolo.
Unfortunately it is stuck in tech hell. Been there since I bought it last year. Guy is a great tech but he is old and having health issues, can't seem to stay working on it. Think I'm just going to go pick it up and do it myself at this point.
