I'm not sure whether the pickup's working. I have to take it in to get the wiring redone. First I have to cut a new pick guard.

What you guys are calling cheap, I am calling mid-range. "Cheap" would be Kingstons, Dominos, Normas.

Even those can be made to sound and play like a custom rig.

Ibanez came out of the same factory in japan that mine came from. They gained in popularity and the brand was bought and developed into what it is today.
