Yes. An LP stylus is not designed to read the wider grooves of a 78 RPM record correctly. Assuming that your turntable allows for interchangeable headshells, the best you can do is having a headshell with a regular cartridge, and another headshell with a 78 RPM cartridge. Notice that must likely you'll have to change the vertical tracking force for each cartridge (using the tonearm's counterweight).
