Double Bass Visitation - Paul Chambers

There's one in an old book by Jim Stinnett "the music of Paul Chambers", with melody, chords and full PC's solo. It isn't that difficult, so it could be a good excercise to transcribe it on your own from the record.

In that case, why don't you check out the original PC recording? I think the album is called Chambers' Music.

Although 'Trane doesn't play on Visitation.Basicaly though, this tune is a bass solo over the Blues with mild piano comping - listening to the the track, it's a bit like a Charlie Parker Bebop Blues, but slower?
Great playing, but not that memorable a head...?
Ah, I hear ya Bruce. The changes are very different, but there's definitely that blues feeling. His solo choruses are so nasty, in the best sense of the word.
