I'm looking for a good volume Pedal that can do both active and passive and have the least amount of tone suck. And the least expensive, the better.

Volume Pedal Advice please.

Me either. It happened to a guitarist I played with... he had to take it in and didn't get it back for 3 weeks. For a stupid piece of string. that's the only complaint I've ever heard about it though.
Which EB though? I see one for passive and one for active... Would the active be ok for passive or vise versa?
I honestly didn't know they did that. I run my MusicMan and Precision through a Jr. Not sure which one though. No noticable difference for me, but I could be terribly mistaken.
You can't have it both ways with the EB. You have to choose active or passive. Your best bet is to get the active model and put it after a pedal with a buffered bypass. Then you can use any type of bass and the EB will still be getting a low impedance signal from the pedal. A boss tuner would work fine for this.
