running into the effects loop sounds like a good idea...but, can you do that with this pedal? It wont blow anything right? I thought it was for line level devices, not necessarily pedals?

you can, but i don't recommend it, nor do i recommend it for any pedals

I don't have noise issues with mine, and I'm satisfied that it does a good job of emulating and SVT, since I can't stand the sound. But if anybody ever asks me for an SVT kind of tone, I can get pretty close to it. I can't imagine why anyone would want that, though.

I've been waiting for THAT.....lol.....

Anyway color me unimpressed. I bought one to fatten up my TA501- still prefer my trusty 800RB all by itself... oh well.

....I use a GK700/112 combo.....

I've been running my pedals into the effects return and bypassing the preamp all together. I guess just using the power amp of the amp.

What about running a VT to a BDDI to chorus to the input of a stand alone power amp?

yeah, sometimes i forget about bypassing the head's pre and just going into the return. that seems to work well. and the vt or bddi will push a power amp by itself.
