3 is enough for 1, for me.... one for my spector, one for my fretless.... Run it through my SVT VR (channel 1 gets "parallel out", channel 2 gets "1/4" out). This way I don't need a blend (independently control the levels on each channel volume)
Spector:
1) Slap > No drive>bass, mid and treb boosted 2)Normal> slight drive> 1/2 way character> eq flat 3)drive 7/8> character 1/4> bass boosted> mid slight boost> highs cut slightly
Fretless:
1) Sub> no drive> character 1/4> bass boost> mid 1/4> highs cut 2) Normal (same as 2 on first channel 3)drive (same as 3 on first channel, no bass boost)
Spector:
