That is so beautiful. The dollar gains. Buy the mk1 on bass direct or have a fretless Mk2 made. Now I'm using a fretless stingray with a graphite neck. Looking forward to an ebony neck. Anyone have preferences or experience between mk1 ands mk2 fretless basses?

Don't think he has ever used it live
I remember reading an article in guitar player back in the 90's where they were interviewing him. he said the Wal was just to dorky looking to play live. or something to that effect.
I remember reading the same out of fashion comment by Flea.
But there is a crappy youtube video of Flea playing with friends at a small club in LA and was using the blue Wal.

MAN ! Crazy ! I just had a dinner with Flea and showed him a nice water fall in my city in Brazil . It was crazy to see the legend swiming in a river in front of you ! He does not like to talk about music LOL ! I understand !

We are releasing our new album from Sony. Nile Rodgers played guitar in 2 musics . You Wal Nuts , I have a challenge for you LOL ! I recorded 15 songs and I used Wals in 5 ! I explored all tones possibilities of the WALS ( At least I think lol) , are you able to recognize some Wal 's sounds by ear ? Take a look at the link ! And let me know lol !
