That one was on ebay about a year ago wasn't it? I remember because it has a one piece large string tree when it should have just the single small tree on the A&D strings, also the pots look changed to US ones.

Yeah, was noticing that seller has a lot of strange gags for sale.
I guess if he waits through two or three more retail price increases from Paul, then eventually that bass will be worth the £5000 used.

Gorgeous Sycamore! Head back on the Hipshots from Philip, looks like the EB4 is the one (out of stock at Wal).
Ya if I were you I'd try to find one with a decent return/exchange policy. Like I said I bought 3 - EB4 and tried them on 3 mk1 and 2 mk2....none of them fit....
Not sure why it only a selective few fit on our basses, but looking at the FB group page, it was a mixed bag too where some fit and some didn't....

About a year ago Ikkebe Gakki had three Wals for sale, (I remember a red Geddy MkII 4, and two 5 string MkII's) all priced the same @ $6K (595000yen), so didn't seem the prices was out of the ordinary.
Didn't they have that nice powder blue'ish MkI 4 string too for about that price?

Oddly enough, I remember that was the battle ship gray refinned MkI that came out of Vancouver CAN.
You can see the red Geddy behind it. I contacted them and of course missed out it was already sold.
