PJ, did you see that Schaller now has lightweight tuners that fit the original holes, same size plates and smaller ears.

Could you tell me the model ? I think I will change them for these light ones, 5 Big ears heavy Schallers Tuners are really giving a lot of extra weight for my 5 MKII ! Craaaazy ! What do you think ?

interesting..... figuring looks identical to to the one that posted in Wal's facebook page.

If I had to guess, perhaps both mk1 ans mk2 Wals they have are recent builds

Market prices a year ago were around 4k on average (from what I recall, bid on a few and usually ended around $4-4500). Now we're starting to see prices hit the $5500 to $6k range, that's around %30 increase in just a little over a years time. If Paul were to stop producing tomorrow, I'd imagine the market value would rise 20-30% yet again. Now seeing one for $4k would be a "jump on it right away!" price, where as you had to think about it a year back. But baring that, with price increases at Wal HQ I imagine $6500-$7k will be the norm in 1-2 years time...just my economic opinion. I highly suggest holding on to your pieces!
