For a standard shedua 89 with a couple finish cracks and a bit of wear all around it, prob about $1500-2000 to high IMO..... oh well, guess the fretless Wal on reverb needed a buddy to hang around with coz I don't see either of those moving at those prices

I caught the finish cracks on the back of the head stock.
I wonder what Howard got for his Fretless MK2 with the LED's he had listed on here in the Classifieds for $6500.
That hung around for a while too.
Yeah I must admit, i've had my fair share of "gotta have it" moments.
It was not an mk2 and a fellow Wal club member picked it up.

I just kept seeing those mini pictures and couldn't see the sculpted body either.

Fretless basses take much longer to sell........and fretless Wal's are just about the best you can get.
That's why I still have mine. My Ken Lawrence Chamber Bass was the closest one to beat it......and Mitch Starkman's F-Bass AC5 was just slightly behind the Chamber Bass. The Wal still one.

A Mk3 5 string posted and sold on Basschat yesterday; £2900 = $4500 bucks! Of course it sold fast within 6 hours when it's priced like a MkI.

I noticed when I joined the Wal club.......my posted picture got wiped out because of the old talkbass format conversion.
