So, for the Mk III, what I call "pointing finger" head-stock, I wonder if it was made longer than the older ones to address a dead note, or just to fit in with the 6-string? It would make sense to add a little more wood to improve that, and possibly the idle sitting balance. Now, the Mk II looks more balanced than the Mk I. Does the Mk III have a lighter body than the Mk II, and needs a bigger headstock to re-balance it? My mind wanders.
