Anyone know a good replacement for the little feet on the bottom of the Wal bass case? I have the grey kind, and the four black plastic feet have cracked and it's just screws now, and it's scratching the floor.

I have replaced a couple. The rubber feet they sell at Menard's worked really well and were very stable. Hardest part for me was removing the old rivets. The right needle-nose players and wiggle should do the trick though.

I would be one today if I had jumped on that one recently posted in the classifieds, but it was 17mm spacing.

They only make one 5 string spacing. No choices...the bridge is only made one way.

OH! Okay, thanks for that bit of info. I'll have to look at 4 stringers, then. Hopefully, they are in either 18mm or 19mm.

They are located on the fret line.... would still make a very Good candidate for a fret job.

Mine look like screws, not rivets. I'll look into that, thanks.

Anyone know what thread the screws that hold the rear cover are? Every time I change the battery I think I must replace these as the previous owner messed up the heads.

Just order a new set from Wal. They're a tiny british thread.

As Mike said, the screws are unusual and British. The heads don't fit normal Phillips bits, so you may just need a different bit - try a PZ bit.

The new updated screws Paul installs have much larger phillips slots so more 'normal' screwdrivers will work and no chance of rounding out the slots.

Again...there is no way without already knowing the spacing....that you are able going to tell the difference by playing them at different times.
