8 thousand for what? You can purchase it for the opening bid which is $6100, as long as no one else bids against you (at that price level probably no one else).
I just meant the buy it now. Yeah 6100 is already steep and who knows, he could have a reserve set. I remember bidding on a bass before and the reserve wasn’t met until 100$ before the buy it now price

a Warwick "JAN" just allows a user to adjust height without having to mod/file the nut slots.

Ah I see now. Yes, I was thinking of just having Paul tune my Wal at BEAD so I wouldn't have to deal with the nut or bridge issues when I tune down. He mentioned sending a back up nut for me if I was to change tunings, since I do so frequently. However, this looks good enough to me.
Hey man, I am curious if you see any benefit to the metallic nut vs. the polymer nut other than long term (decades) durability/fragility that occurs with polymers aging?

Im surprised too. That ones been in the classifieds for a long time now and it’s not a bad price by any means.
I've heard from others that it makes open notes sound like fretted notes. That would be a huge plus for me! The videos I've seen of brass nuts seem to have a good consistency with this, albeit it's subtle.
Hmmm that does make sense. I wish I would have ordered the brass nut on my Mk 2.
