Yes. I also sent out my neck plate to get plated gold too stateside.

The indicators are glued in studs. They push out from the backside.

I imagine the cost of buying all new gold parts would be a grand, going by just what the upcharge is on a new build. Probably would be way cheaper to get the current parts re-plated, and just get new tuners. Mk3 doesnt have a neck plate, so one less (large) piece to deal with.

Good info. One of my indicator studs is a bit loose

Good to know about the indicators pushing out of the backside thanks for the info. Mike you are so appreciated in this club you are the go to guy in the states for all things Wal! I think I will send Paul an email and see how much gold hardware costs these days if it's close to $1000 (which I'm sure your'e right) the bass will stay chrome! You and Kulit have the right Idea in getting the parts replated in the states and just buying the tuners from Hipshot if I really want to go gold.

Ya, the studs were pretty easy to do. I actually swapped hardware from one of my other basses I had. It was a fretless Walnut Mk2 and it looked way nicer in chrome than gold....I got both neck plates replated. If I hadn't done the full swap with hardware, I would've probably had everything replated.

Here's a list of the hardware:
1-String tree
8-pickup mounting screws
6-pickup height adjuster screws
16-pole pieces
5-bridge screws
4-bridge saddles
4-stud markers
4-Jack/housing screws
7-jackplate screws
4-neck bolts
1-center neck screw

Optional
Tuners
Strap Pins

As far as he understands, this is the last double neck built by Pete for him in 1998.
Rarely played and in good condition.
Will be shipped in the original flighcase.
He had Jonas Hellborg sign the electronics cover.
