Wal Bass Club.

There is a guy on FB trying to trade a $3000 Limited run Geddy straight up for a Wal :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

He has it posted in marketplace for $9500. They have been selling from $1600-2400 and wants that price tag because its NOS.

I think it's a safe bet to say that as owners of boutique instruments such as a Wal, we are inclined to know the value of any proposed trade. That post was the post of someone who had no clue and wasn't prepared for the rebuttal of actual Wal owners. I read the post and lol'd and almost pee'd a little.

I've had my Wal for six years now. A couple weeks ago I got to gig it out for the first time. The bass at stage volume through my rig was PHENOMENAL sounding. There were moments in my set where I was listening to my playing and the tone was so good that I couldn't help but smile and laugh a little. I couldn't believe that that tone was me. All in all 10/10. Would gig the Wal again (duh).

May not be “fancy” but it’s certainly going to be gorgeous!

I know! I currently use a ACG RetroB with similar specs and love it. My plan is to use the RetroB for the standard tuning, and the Wal for drop D, and i also have a Schecter for 1/2 step down tuning.

On another note, ACG is often compared to Wal at a certain extent because of the pickups/preamp. This said, I will most likely part ways with my left handed ACG 5 Strings. I havent listed it, but will soon. 5 strings is not just my thing.
Just not sure if there are many left handed buyer out there. Anyway, here are the specs. Just msg me if you have interest.
