Nice! Enjoy your first Wal ever
As I now recall those days of getting my first Wal more than two years ago (and ordering a new one just shortly after that, as I knew immediately I cannot imagine to ever be Wal-less in my days to come, so placing this" depostit was frankly just an obvious and reasonable act of wisdom), yeah seriously, it felt like nothing else before or after in 20+ years of playing bass, it really moved me! Ha ha, sounds like I am some softhearted kittycat
The truth is I still have and play other basses, which is inevitable as different genres and approaches requires specific bassolution, but if neccesary, Wal would handle (maybe tiny bit spiced up in signal-chain in some cases) any situation I can imagine. I like my other basses, but adore my Wal, it´s not just an instrument, it is a true friend who is always in good mood, compadre in cherishing life, companion who smile with you, scream with you, weep with you and lift you up when everything else let you down... Wals are bit pricey today, but they are certainly not expensive as some might say, as I thought years back too. There are no such bucks to outweight inner wealth that Wal can give you. Should I choose just one bass for life? Easy, right?
Hope your blonde beauty MKI will give you countless joyful moments!
So after being stuck waiting for paperwork since the 6th, they finally cleared the bass and it's moving this way! Hopefully shouldn't be more than a day or two!
