Of course way overpriced for an old Pro 1e. Might as well look for a Mk1 at the 10k range.

Agreed. May as well get on that waiting list for that much dough. I have questions! I only found a few You Tube videos of a Wal Pro with the pickup placed like that. In one (the black one) the bass is not played. In the other, the dude dialed in a really nice reggae tone. I want to hear more. Listening to a passive one would be a treat. Anyone know of any such vids out there?
For these single pickup Wal Pros, is the pickup in the same place as a regular neck pickup of a dual pickup Wal of the era? If it were, then conceivably you could replicate the same general tone by soloing the neck pickup in a dual pickup Wal.

probably dudepit, maybe Badassbassplayers.... got to play the WonderWal/Fodera Wal and a few others. Got to play his fretless at a jam and Kennnan's place playing Brown Eyed Girl with some drummer/guitarist from the bay area blues scene. Was such a different time. Wish I had that picture somewhere.
