WAL MB4 midi bass. Is it work properly ? Once the sensors are installed in frets, in case of a fret job I think it will be a problem !

Well here we go, about time I posted pics of my Wals on here. Fretted one is paduak made in June 85, fretless is olive ash July 88.
The fretted one was originally owned by a guy who was a really big fan of Mick Karn. He couldn't play but was determined to learn - to the extent that he went to the factory to see if he could get an identical one made. They sold him this one rather than making him a custom one but apparently he took some convincing to just have one off the rack. According to his dad he played it for a couple of weeks, decided it hurt his hand too much and stuck it in the cupboard for a couple of years before deciding to sell it

They did. The 2nd generation Pro Bass was a minimalist single pickup passive instrument with no body contours. They do pop up a couple times a year so you have to be ready for it, and seem they tend to run average around the $22-2300 mark.
John Gustafson: long scale = JG serials
John Perry: short scale = JP serials
These were the first guys they built what would be regular Wal bodystyle basses for, so that's how the serials were stamped.
Until the Pro Bass line started, then they used PB serials, then W when the Custom line came on.
No. And I really don't see a need for that because with the filters, you can cut away so much high end that even the most brilliant rounds sound as phat as flat.
If you put flats on a Wal, it would be more because of the feel I guess. I'd probably do it on a fretless.

Hello !
I just asked Paul if he had any bass is stock about month ago. Sometimes we forget that maybe they could have them ready to ship for some reason , and we just remember to ask them for a new custom basses and never to ask about "basses in stock" . He said yes, I have a 5 string MKIII ! And I bought it ! I preferred to buy a "IN STOCK" bass than wait 2 years for a bass exactly like I want. I agreed that these "IN STOCK" basses are very rare , but I was Lucky ! Thanks God !
About the Glossy BLACK MKI , with MOP Blocks , Gold Hardware, light weight and 100% black ebony fingerboard I had to wait about 1.2 years.

Strings ? Yes I used, but I did not like it ! Just come back to Stainless Steel ones !
