Wal Bass Club.

I sold my 87 Schedua MKI and I'm very sad ! But it was to pay the balance of my new MKI in Black, Gold Hardware, MOP Block inlays, Ebony Fingerboard . I hope I did the right thing ! I miss my Schedua very much ! LOL ! Any comments ?

that's quite hot, Caca! it looks almost mint!

Not quite, it's got alot of mileage on it. The original owner was a session player, producer, and clinician in England and it shows he used it alot. I spent a couple days cleaning and cleaning and polishing, and my fingers a freakin sore! Just need to get several new screws from Paul.

yes sir! thanks. it's a '92 Pete era bass. the top is bookmatched padauk and the lighter center section is padauk sapwood that's just matched up really nicely, so it's really a two piece top. I wasn't sure about the little pickguard at first but it's really well crafted and it's grown on me.

My goodness...I covet :)

Obviously a rarity, but I've seen pics of three Wals with the slap guard: two 4's and a 5. Both 4's had the same shaped small guard (yours being one of them), and the 5 had a longer one that spanned from G to B string but still shaped the same way on the treble side.

This might be a noob question but, does both the XLR/DI out and 1/4" out work at the same time? I'm assuming so as the the 1/4" has to be plugged in to turn on the DI. In other words can you use both at the same time?

My New Black MKI will have this little pickguard. I already saw some WALS with this little clear plastic things. I like it, and it's better for easy slap !
