quarter notes, eighth notes... I learnt all those terms from talkbass actually, then had to unlearn it when everyone I played with, in the UK obviously, called them by their classical names. It's swings and roundabouts really, 32nd note is easier that demi-semiquaver (is that right, I never play them!), but "eighth note triplet" makes no sense at all... well it does, I know what it means, but it';s less logical than "quaver triplet".

Anyway, back on topic.. I read the entire thread too. We rule don't we
