Want to replace individual stomps with mulit-effects

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked. I'm going to take my time and enjoy setting it up just for my tastes, without swapping individual pedals.

If I like it as good as I think I am, there will be some stomps for sale, but I'm going to wait to be sure on the M13's fitting into my usage.

I really do appreciate everyone's input during this quest.

About time! It only took thirteen pages. Heh. ;)

Congrats, I think you'll enjoy it. I know I like mine, but I haven't given up individual pedals. Now I learn about a way to run effects in parallel and I have a lot more to learn about my M13. (You need to use a blend pedal in the effects loop, BTW.)

cyber, I want you to know I have followed your posts, in particular, on this and other threads closely, and with great interest. Thank you for blazing some M-trails for us all, and sharing them. Opened some minds as to what these babies will do. It certainly did mine. You were valuable in that you have had both the M9 and M13, which I had a hard time deciding between.

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this long thread. I think a lot of folks got a lot out of it. I know Line 6 should appreciate it. At least three or four of us have purchased since this thread started.

When it started, I wasn't even thinking about an M-Pedal. It was some of you guys that led me in that direction. I was looking at Gt6b's or ME-50's, or Bass Pod LIVE's. But the more I read and thought about it, it became apparent that the M-series is the perfect pedal to achieve the title of this thread...... No one even hijacked it. ye gads, man!

Should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday, and I will be following all the posts of all the M-Owners, both newbies & vets, for tips and tricks.

Congrats!! Glad you finally got one! Lol you have definately made line 6 a bit of money through this thread...I know I didn't think I would ever buy one, and now im considering selling my m9 and getting the M13!! I feel like even though 4 effects at once is a lot, being able to see and tweak my settings on a separate screen for each effect and having the fx loop is actually gonna be kinda crucial for me. Also, ive really enjoyed this thread too....its too bad its going to end now :'(

I was really torn between the M9 and the M13, but I figured if I could get the slightly used M13 for the same price, I wouldn't ever think, "wonder if the bigger one would perform better for me". I was concerned about its' size, but it is still signicantly (around half) the size of my pedalboard. If I find I can't use all it can do, and it's still too bulky, I can always downsize later, without getting hurt too badly.

One of the factors was also the one-button tuner. I doubt I ever use four effects at one time, but the individual screens are also an asset. Got a lot of work to put into it, but it should be a labor of love. I'll start with just my basic stompbox effects I've been using, and work from there.

LMAO.

If already had a M9, I doubt I would have traded up for a M13. But since I was willing to settle for a slightly used one, I decided to go for it, especially starting from scratch (M-wise). I just got tired of waffling between the two.

I've scoped a couple of the linked threads already. After mine comes in, I'm sure I'll be lurking there more.
