Warmoth 72 P build..Anyone??

I have severe gas for a Warmoth 72 P body with a tele neck. Basically a tele bass with the reg P pickup. I love the pickguard too. I can't decide on a color, but it will be reranch nitro for sure. Anyone out there have something like this? Show me some pics!!

Ditch the pup, route for a pbass pup. Done! Cept the specs sheet on GC's site is for the mike dirnt pbass, I have one, I know

Edit: Or atleast half of it is... the dirnt has a control plate, 55 arm, and 51 body with arm contour.

Sonic blue with a maple neck is definately in my to three design ideas! Other ideas include black/maple with white pg and Dakota red/rosewood with white pg . Vintage white is in the discussion too

Here's one I put together several years ago using what Warmoth told me was the first '72 P body they ever made/sold. It started out as a slab but I had them cut the back and forearm contours. It was originally drilled at Warmoth for the string through body Gotoh bridge but I later subbed a Fender '62 RI bridge.

Thanks. I'm itching to build a fenderbird someday myself - if I could ever make up my mind and get all the details sorted out.

I'm conteplating an all walnut '72 with a Darkstar. There is a member of the ReRanch forum who builds necks and I'm working with him on the neck because Warmoth will not do binding with dots.
