Actually I ordered a neck at the same time. They screwed up the initial build (quality issues) and have to rebuild it.
I did have a custom route for the body as well, but I doubt that took much time.
Just placed an order for my first Warmoth build! Took advantage of the WarPaint sale and got a KILLER Dinky P in the EXACT configuration I wanted! And a (custom) bound and blocked Wenge / Pau Ferro slim taper neck! More to come!
Maybe you chaps will be more helpful than the Warmoth rep I emailed yesterday. I've been reading some issues about HipShot UltraLites not fitting in the Warmoth 14mm ream (even though there are 2 reams listed at 14mm for the Gotoh and Hipshot each). Additionally, it seems the HipShot 1/2" post would be 12.7mm leaving the amount of free-play I've been reading about here. I emailed Warmoth to change from the BML/17.5mm to the smaller diameter (knowing I can always route larger if required) and the rep emailed me back and said "the GB7 ream is the same as the Hipshot Ultra Lite ream". That's all the email said. I told him to rock on with the 14mm and I'll either order Gotohs (I have HipShots on hand) or enlarge the holes for the 17mm posts. Any knowledge from you experienced lads?

Muchas Gracias. I wrote so much stuff down while researching / planning this build. I also recalled having the issue I was reading about (and back then, I solved it by shimming the post sleeve with electrician's tape) and probably confused myself by reading too much.
Warmoth parts for my second build finally arrived today. Novak Bisonic is going in this baby. And it's true what they say - roasted maple necks really do smell like maple syrup! Mmmmm.....
