That is stunning !
Thank you! Looks like your new single cut is going to be another successful creation of yours. Cant wait to the finish on your SC![]()
He'll get it when I say he gets it, so, you'll have to wait till I say he gets it. Which will be sort of the same as you get to see it when I say you can see it and that will be after I say he can see it and he says you can see it after I say he can see it. Or something like that. But maybe not.
Cause, in my shop...

The White sc is a Maisietone and I will be using that but I found a kinda cool surround that I may or maynot use

Please let us know how it turns out ...![]()
PLEK-ing is not cheap. All my G&L basses arrived PLEK-ed and the warmoth neck feels and sets up just as good. If you don't need to PLEK, save the money, IMO.
So I got my bass back from having the frets professionally dressed/PLED'd today. Thought I'd report back.
It's perfect. The bass was a 8.5 before now it's a 10. There was a slight buzz around the 12th fret, it's gone now. There was a high fret somewhere. I can get the action lower than it was.
The big question...Was it worth it($200)? Short answer. It was for me, may not be for everybody.
It's a big price for a little bit of difference...but it's perfect and I feel good about that. I love this bass and in a few months it won't matter what I paid for it. I'll probably PLEK my next build (#2).

That is such a cool color.. Do tell.... Do Tell, please!!
oh man can't wait to see this !I received my shipping notice tonight for my second custom order already. Ordered on 9/20
Dinky Jazz body - Solid Ash with Transparent Turquoise gloss, rear route
Jazz neck - Roasted Maple / Roasted Maple with Turquoise dot inlay, 6230 frets
Good start to the week!![]()

I received my second custom order last night..I really like the feel of these roasted Maple necks.
Both the body and neck are very light. I am going to take the neck in next week to have headstock engraved deep this time and I am going to inlay crushed turquoise in the headstock logo.
