That is one pretty birdseye top. May I suggest an oil or satin finish? Use the paint for something else.
ok I just rounded all the stuff up and I have BLO , Watco Danish oil , fresh shellac , Clear Nitro and Amber nitro . Also Gold top and Sherwood green nitro . What should I do ???
Can you tint the clear nitro with something? Transparent finish would look cool to. or just Danish oil..
I can't easily , I have amber , it's Starcast amber which leans orange / red the more you put on .
That will probably look good amber

(luckily there are a few versions of the BA readily available out there to satisfy personal preferences)
Exactly. I can still get an Omega and do a multi-slot file job on it so I have adjustable spacing like a Fender HMV.Just goes to show how everyone has different opinions on just about everything under the sun.

ftr - the removable brass saddles shift side to side and lock for dialing string alignment. They also offer a couple other saddle materials and if so inclined a blank saddle can be substituted for (say...) 8 string custom slotting/positioning.

My favorite bridge is the Schaller 3D as far as fluid side-to-side adjustment of string alignment goes (threaded roller saddles) but wouldn't give you an 8 string mod option.

I'm using a killer Padouk & Ebony neck I have 32" and yup I ordered this Birds eye I was going to faux binding it . Gibby covers nice tops for their GT's I figured it was no biggie drool
The White sc is a Maisietone and I will be using that but I found a kinda cool surround that I may or maynot use
