The White sc is a Maisietone and I will be using that but I found a kinda cool surround that I may or maynot use

I've only built 1 Warmoth. They recommend the fret work be finished/leveled. My bass plays great without it, and I'm pretty picky. However, I'm sending it to a luthier next week to have the frets finished (he has a PLEK machine). I'm apprehensive about doing it because it plays so well now....but I'm gonna do it anyway. For those who have used them, how "plug & play" are the warmoth necks? How are the frets? Finished or will they need levelling?

It plays good now.PLEK-ing is not cheap. All my G&L basses arrived PLEK-ed and the warmoth neck feels and sets up just as good. If you don't need to PLEK, save the money, IMO.
it's probably not going to get used now , big change of plans though . A friend Paul SlagleOnce seen it can't be un-seen. I vote 'use'![]()

does finishing for EchoPark & Pittman guitars and several other builders took a look at it and talked me into a pro finish . Hes a friend and a master finisher so I handed it over . We'll see it in a month or so . I left all creative control to him so it's a mystery finish![]()
