I went with a gecko body. I would have probably went the same route even if i knew a dinky 5 was available but who knows. Maybe thatll be my next project. lol

Of course you count!! Anyway, can you tell me more about it? Is it just 4 string or is it available in the 5 string? How much thinner is it? Anything you can say would be great.

I'm with wyliee - my newest 4 string Warmoth has the thinner profile and I am very happy with it. It's noticeably thinner, but not as dramatic as going to something like a Geddy for example. If you felt the standard profile was on the edge of chunky it's adjusted just enough to feel the difference. I was never unhappy with the standard necks (I have 4) but decided to try it out on this one.

OK, i think i have a problem here and if so im not so happy with warmoth.....
The body i ordered is drilled for hipshot a style bridge with string thru.
Well, the bridge is mounted to the body by 3 screws. The problem is it looks like warmoth drilled the center bridge mount hole the wrong size. Its large like the string thru holes.

Wow, definitely looks like a mistake. I suppose you could use a fatter screw, but I'd definitely let them know about it.
I already emailed them. Ill call monday if i dont hear back. The problem with using a larger screw is the hole in the bridge is only so big. Im somewhat upset with this since i dropped a lot of money on the body. At the very least i hope they can make up for the problem.
Yeah im sure its an easy fix, but the point is i shouldnt have to do that on a brand new body like this. The more i think about it the more it annoys the heck out of me really.
It would me too. Especially if I had picked out a body with a really nice top. Maybe they'll give you a percentage of your money back if you don't want to send it back for another body.
Yeah, i picked out this piece of wood and payed a ton extra for it. They dont have another like it. Its not just that but even if they did have another peice of wood i liked im not so thrilled about waiting another 2 months for them to build another body. Im all for some sort of other compensation but ill just have to see what they say. Its clearly their mistake so i hope they are understanding.
