Warmoth Owners Club!!

Nicely finished by Pat Wilkins in Daphne Blue, has Lollar pickup, plays and sounds dreamy....:D

Yes, that is ''the problem''... Top is too stunning... I really have to consider this one when I get the body.

The double sided tape might actually work for the control plate also as the pots will be installed from the back. The control plate will be clamped between the pot (inside the cavity) and the nut (on top of the control plate)...

Ah, I see. I'd try the double sided tape, and if you really like how it looks then I'd consider drilling. It is a really tough call...

When I receive it I'll post some pictures with and without the pickguard / control plate. Then you guys can help me decide :hmm: It might take a bit of time though, it might get stuck for a while in customs. We have to pay a ton of taxes for imports from the US here in little old Denmark.

A question... I've tried to simulate the building of a Deluxe 5 (4+1) neck on Warmoth's website... And it says that they can only drill tuner holes for BML (Schaller) Lites. But these tuners don't have that classic Fender "clover" look.

Is it possible to "custom order" the neck so that they can drill it for Hipshot ultra lites?

I have a 32" neck on order from Warmoth and it is drilled for the BML lites...But I have a set of Hipshot 1/2" Ultralight Clover tuners that I have been told will fit fine in those holes
I should have my neck in a week and I'll be able to tell you if they fit :D

Don't worry too much bout what the website says you can and can't do.
My new Warmoth is practically all custom stuff that the site said couldn't happen. Just email Jason Lillie - he's the guy who helped me out- and he can price anything you need manually.

Just picked up a neck with the standard BML tuner ream (11/16ths) and the Hipshot HB6C 1/2 Bass Black Ultralites fit like a charm.
