To those who own a Warmoth Jazz bass 5 string... How's the B string? That particular string doesn't have a fantastic reputation on Jazz-like basses...
My new bass is done, just finished the assembly, here is a quick evening shot after playing it for the first time... I will get back with more pics later and a description of how it is to play. This will be in a few days, because it's off to the Luthier on sunday for the final set up...

Finished my Warmoth 32" Black Korina Jazz today! 
I couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better. Plays and feels great!
Specs:
Body - Black korina (Tung Oil, 15 coats and finished with Warwick wax))
Neck - Goncalo Alves (unfinished)
Fretboard - Goncalo Alves (unfinished) no dots, side dots only...
Pickups - Nordstrand NJ4's
Preamp - Aguilar OBP-2
Bridge - Schaller 463B
Tuners - Hipshot Ultra's & Hipshot string retainer
Custom - Goncalo Alves knobs, back control plate cover and Custom neckplate cover made by Doug on the Warmoth forums

Wow, your bass turned out nice..! There is an organic look to both the body and the neck, and I bet there is also an organic feel. Very nice, and seeing your bass I think that my next Warmoth bass body might be one of those naked ones...

It's been raining here most of the day, but late in the afternoon there was no rain, and we even had some sun... I managed to take this picture that I think is really cool... Looks kind of like a planet in space seen through a telescope. This planet can't be the sun because the sun don't have JAZZ pick ups on it. Or..!?

You're right: The sun ain't no planet - but the picture is still cool Regarding the sunburst: Normally I'm not a fan either, I think it looks bad when the colors (like on most sunbursts) are not faded well into each other, but credits to Warmoth for an amazing paint job on this one..!
Can't help you regarding the 5 string, but I can tell you that with this bass I don't even consider a 5 string anymore. The low end is DEEP and both powerful and well defined. I think that the pau ferro neck with the ebony fretboard has a lot of the credit for this. The low end is much, much better than on my USA G&L SB-2 for instance... So maybe you don't even need a 5 string..!?
Here are a few more pics of the neck, I can't recommend such a Pau Ferro neck highly enough because it's a dream to play - extremely smooth..
Sorry everyone. My work load has tripled in the last 3 months and I am not having a good time catching up. I will work on getting caught up Monday first thing.
I've had two 5ers, one with the "Fender" style headstock and one with the Warmoth. The look of the Fender was spot on, but I preferred the Warmoth. The tilt back style seemed to make all the strings sound clearer, I used a bar for the Fender style (like Lakland) instead of two String tees and I just couldn't get all the strings to speak as clearly as the tilt back. As for the B strings, they both were very good to great as long as I didn't let them twist when I installed them. They both lasted a shorter time than the rest of the strings (which may be because 1. I pluck pretty hard with my right hand and 2. I use the B string quite a lot). I've had 7 5ers in the last three years (Squier Dlx 5 Jazz, Schecter C 5, Warmoth G 5, Warmoth Sting Ray, Schecter Diamond P 5 Custom, Yamaha BB425 and now a Lakland 55-01) and the Warmoth B strings were just as good as the best of them. I'm not really sure that the body style would have made as much of a difference as the pickups would.
