warmoth short scale bass..?

I'm also interested in the Warmoth shortscales and called them a couple of weeks ago and was told they won't be available until mid 2010.

Until then I'll make do with my P and J shortscale experimentals using Mustang RI and Bronco necks.

Sorry guys, I don't have an official release date. All the design and testing is done. I assembled the prototypes and they're pretty sweet.

If you're really interested, email [email protected] and let them know you're ready to buy. The sales/web side of the house needs to get their part done. (And that includes me too....)

hey wyliee i sent them an email a few days ago and expressed an interest in buying or possibly preordering something but got a response just telling me to keep watching the website for updates. but it seems a lot of people are pretty keen to get onto these. i know i had the cash ready to order!

Neither - it's based on a real Fender MIJ 32" scale Jbass, which is like a downsized vintage J with a smaller bulge where the controls go. We've also done a short scale Z bass, and soon there will be a short scale G4 in double and single cutaway versions. For the singlecut G4, think Rob Allen Mouse-ish.

From the forum.

One short scale body, two interchangeable necks, one 30" and one 32" scale.
