I got the idea from a sticker I saw on ebay for guitars and decided to do my own for bass. :D

I've included a "blank" card in the attachments below so anyone can make their own personalized warning. :bassist:

If you come up with something particularly funny, share it here :)

I love it now I won't have to say it! I had a guy drunk walk up to my bass one night and took it off the stand and started plucking the strings! I walk up to him took it from him and said what the F are you doing and he said I wasn't going to hurt it and I said this bass guitar is worth more to me than all the teeth in your mouth so if you do not want to be spitting those teeth on the floor don't ever touch my stuff! that will be on the blank one you have supplied us thanks for making it RTS

So it's in between sets and some yahoo is blabbing at the drummer and has conveniently placed his full pint glass on top of my amp. With joviality and brightness I ask him, "Is that my beer?" When he tells me no I change to a demeanor of aggression and malace and ask him, "Is that your amp?!"
He got the message.

...and of course my drummer wanted one too (the needy little bastard, lol) ;)

I like it. While a drum-tard may be excused this offense once (and only once), my beef is with the bassist criminals who put their sweating bottles on top of naked amps. I see it routinely at multi-band shows, or at rehearsals, and even in some pix here on TB. Last time I checked, most bassists don't have more money than brains, so if it reads like this post is directed to YOU, then it probably is.

Drummers need it more than everybody else, because:

Kid looks at random stage. A complicated guitar, a scary bass  and big round boxes that you can kick with sticks. Which one do you think they'll choose :P

Yep thats why this joke is on

Q: What does drummer get on his IQ test

A: Saliva.

:D

Reminds me of a show I did last summer where some idiot saw my bass on stage and grabbed it and started playing it. As I ran up to the stage and yanked the bass out of his hands, I think he got as far as whats your f*****g pro...... then I punched him in the face. Owner called the police but in the end he didnt want to admit getting his arse knocked down by a girl. :bawl:
