Warwick $$ Body question

So I have my warwick doublebuck in the nirvana black.....strangely enough it did not come with the beeswax normally placed in the warwick "supplies" now should I use the warwick beeswax with my nirvana black 4 string $$ or does this finish not need the wax? and should the back of the neck be waxed as well?? Please help!

I am not sure I agree with the dyed no wax thing. I apply wax (super lightly) to all my warwicks and I am a sweat "er". You must use it very lightly.........emphasize lightly........and once a year.......I use a MINOR amount on the back of the neck..........and rub it down MANY times over the course of several days before I even think about gigging with it...............unfortunately I have had a top split on a FNA 5 banger due to lack of "humidity" read as no wax..........and leaving it in the car on a couple 80+ degree days (but under 90's)...........so............in other words try this...........email the guys at the new warwick site or the warwick.de site as I find I often receive responses from Hans himself! Hope this helps..............

Hey mate,
You nirvana black finish doesnt need waxing, which will fade it.
However, you can wax the back of your neck, but it's not critical as the neck gets plenty of oil from your hand.
The fingerboard can be treated either every string change or once every 6 months with a little lemon oil.
I hope you enjoy your $$.:bassist:
